AECOM are currently seeking a Senior BIM Technician - Electrical, to be based in our Abu Dhabi office. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) for a variety of building projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, coordinated, and efficient designs.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop detailed 3D BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.</li><li>Work closely with engineers to model HVAC systems, electrical layouts, and plumbing designs, maintaining proper spatial coordination.</li><li>Conduct clash detection and resolve issues between MEP systems and other disciplines using tools like Navisworks, Revizto.</li><li>Develop custom Revit families for specific MEP components as required by project needs.</li><li>Collaborate with sustainability teams to integrate energy analysis and environmental considerations into MEP designs.</li><li>Generate detailed schematics, layouts, and schedules for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with design standards.</li><li>Provide BIM support for construction teams, addressing design issues and making real-time adjustments to models.</li><li>Ensure MEP models follow industry-specific and Local Authority standards (e.g., ASHRAE, CIBSE) and project BIM Execution Plans.</li></ul>
