And that’s where you come in.Job Description:Reports To             :               Senior Commissioning Manager Supervises             :              <ul><li>Works Access Controllers Works Train Operators </li><li>Power Supervisor </li><li>Power Operators </li><li>Construction Railway Operations Assistants</li><li>CRO Administrator </li></ul><div>Purpose of Job / Job Summary</div><div>Key Responsibilities/Duties</div><ul><li>Managing day to day CRO requirements</li><li>Makes policy and strategic decisions during the operation in an emergency.</li><li>To chair the weekly CRO Work Train Notice Meeting for:</li><li>Discussion and approval of all work request in Defined / Restricted Area under CRO.</li><li>Discussion and approval of all Works Trains request according to project priority.</li><li>Engaging with all SPCs/ WPL/ Construction Teams and find ways to solve work issues related to DA/RA areas</li><li>Advising and reminding all SPC/WTO on safety of train operations.</li><li>Senior manager to WTO , to ensure CRO training is delivered to all relevant staff</li><li>Issue daily and weekly Notice via CRO administrator</li><li>Ensure all competencies are maintained for CRO staff including power switching requirements via Power Supervisor</li><li>Ensure with track work team , works trains are safe to use track</li><li>Part of Gate Review Team</li><li>Complete audits to ensure all works staff adhere to CRO works process including but not limited to Works Train Manual , Permit to Work System , Energize- De-Energize Process</li></ul><div>Location and Hours of Work </div><ul><li>The CROM will be expected to work shifts Monday to Saturday 00:01- 23:00 , the shifts are 8 hours per day with one hour lunch break .</li><li>The CROM place of work will be at the OCC or temporary location within the depot area . On occasions the CROM will be requested to work with the Project Senior Commissioning Manager or other engineering staff within the main office situated at Nex Building , Ayala Avenue , Makati.</li></ul><div>VariationsSafety Responsibilities</div><ul><li>Advise and guide the works train organisation staff on safe methods of work in the control room and, when necessary, on the control system</li><li>Follow the project defined safe working procedures personally, wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required and look out for the safety of others</li><li>Attend safety forums and deliver safety briefing to the works train organisation staff</li></ul>Functional RelationshipsInternal   : Senior Commissioning Manager , CRO Power Operator , CRO Assistants , CRO Administrator , WPL, Construction Managers and Supervisors. HSE department, Works Train Manager, Train Drivers.  External  : Emergencies Services (during incident), Operator's OCC staff.<div></div>Job SpecificationsQualifications:                       Degree holder or experience in the role as shown belowExperience:                            Minimum 2 years working as a CROM , a degree or 10 years working on construction operational railway    Specific Skills/Ability:         <ul><li>Professionally qualified with membership of a recognised transport institution, preferred</li><li>Thorough understanding of safety and operational requirements for works train/ electric train/ vehicle operation in Defined and Restricted Area</li><li>Possess good knowledge in operating diesel locomotive, electric trains, and maintenance vehicle during construction and Testing &amp; Commissioning periods</li><li>Good literacy and analytical skills required for the role, as well as strong organisational skills, detail oriented and the ability to handle multiple priorities</li></ul>Personal Qualities :              <ul><li>Proven skill in leading a team of operation and technical support staff</li><li>Excellent inter-personal communication skills and able to work with clients, consultants and authorities to effectively meet targets/objectives</li><li>Analytical, detailed and performance driven with tenacity to get things done</li><li>Highly motivated, energetic and able to adapt effectively to new work challenges and situational      changes / deadlines</li></ul>                                             <div></div>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
