We are looking for a Thermal process Engineer for Rondo Energy’s Thermal Systems team. The candidate would lead the thermal system design to support product development as well as project execution. This engineer will to be a critical member of the design and engineering team, collaborating with a cross functional team of talented designers to deliver innovative and practical solutions.Join our team and together we can reduce world CO₂ emissions by 1% in 10 years, and by 15% in 15 years! What You Will Do (key responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to):<ul><li>Lead the development of thermal performance analysis of the heat battery system including heat transfer, pressure drop, equipment sizing and heat duty calculations.</li><li>Develop, own and maintain the official heat and mass balance for heat battery systems.</li><li>Lead the Process Engineering effort for boilers and Heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) specification, calculations, datasheets, drawings and supplier technical communication.</li><li>Work on air flow studies including sizing of duct, stack, dampers, blowers and other hot air handling equipment. Actively collaborate with simulations team to regarding necessary simulation studies and product decisions.</li><li>Develop and maintain Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process &amp; Instrumentation Diagrams (P&amp;IDs).</li><li>Develop datasheet for air blowers, actuators, pumps, valves and similar equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with other disciplines such as Instrumentation and Controls team, Supply Chain team and Product Management team to complete assigned goals and tasks.</li><li>Support Application team and Project team to review technical documentation.</li><li>Participate in meetings with customer, Owner’s Engineer, EPC partner for technical reviews such as P&amp;ID review, HAZOP study, feasibility study.</li><li>Maintain high standards of quality across design concepts, drawings, and specifications</li><li>Integrate innovative technologies and sustainable practices into the design process to enhance project efficiency and performance</li><li>Serve as a technical resource for internal engineers and maintain relationships with outside consultants and contracted parties</li></ul> What You Will Bring:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
