The Pilot Plant Sanitation Technician is part of the Product Development Commercialization Pilot Plant team. This team is responsible for executing pilot scale development for new product development, product maintenance and process development. You will work closelywith the pilot plant process technicians who execute testing, executing sanitation and warehouse management programs.

You Will:

  • Perform routine work area and process equipment sanitation according to Master Sanitation Schedule and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Operate necessary sanitation equipment such as sprayers, foamers, vacuums, COP washers, pumps, etc.
  • Perform process floor organization and housekeeping in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Accurately and safely dose and dispense sanitizers and detergents into foamers, sprayers, tanks and bottles.
  • Work in adherence to Good Documentation Practices, completing required documentation for tasks performed.
  • Manage warehouse space to comply with GMP, 5S and EH&S standards.
  • Assist in inventory management for Raw Materials and Finished Products.
  • Assist with routine QA sample collection.
  • Assist with some shipping and receiving activities.

You Have:

  • Hard-working team player with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds unaided.
  • Ability to provide a clean, safe working environment.
  • Ability to follow all safety guidelines.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work in cold processing rooms 40°F-50°F.
  • Willingness and ability to use email, Google Drive, and other software as needed.
  • Previous sanitation experience preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a food prep/production/laboratory preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a GMP environment preferred.
  • Previous experience working with hazardous chemicals preferred.
  • Previous forklift training preferred.
  • Previous warehouse management experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with 5S preferred.
  • Flexible working hours as needed.
