Perform tests on and document processes and products as directed for new product introduction or process improvement under the requirements of the NSP (Non-Standard Product system. Design, install, and commission new production units, monitors modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoots existing processes. Study and document process capabilities of new and existing equipment makes recommendations for improving capability. Investigate and solve quality short falls as they occur. Ensures that all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations. Perform risk assessments, including hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies, for the health and safety of both company staff and the wider community. Assess the availability of raw materials and the safety and environmental impact of the plant. Monitor environmental and operational performance of processes. Work closely with engineers and others to monitor and improve the efficiency, output, and safety of a plant. Make observations and take measurements directly and collect and interpret data from the other technical and operating staff involved. Support the conversion of small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations. 10% domestic travel possible to visit client sites. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or its foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial engineering or related field.
