The Trade Manager will report into Senior Manager of Trade and will be a key influencer to our fast growing US Retail Team. This role is responsible for overseeing our Trade Planning Management solution, and providing industry leading insights that advise the Retail Leadership Team and Account Management group on all areas of Trade. From driving an effective process to review our promotional activity with the field, to developing recommendations and forecasting impact on channel strategies to run the year, this role will be involved in many key cross-functional projects that influence our short and long term business plan.

You Will

  • Elevate the post promotional analysis process to the next level for US Retail
  • Work with Sr. Manager, Trade Operations to steward Leadership on Retail strategy outlook, and provide recommendations to achieve core internal goals
  • Demonstrate mastery in using syndicated and internal data to engage Account Managers, the Go-To Market Team, the Pricing Team, and Leadership on various inquiries and projects
  • Shepherd Account Managers to ensure an accurate Trade Forecast is attainable from our Trade Planning Management System (TPM)
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting on monthly trade accrual process
  • Support the development of Impossible Foods’ internal sales reporting capabilities for trade management
  • Embody our Sales Operations team values of inspiring trust, embracing change, and contributing to excellence
  • Run Operations of licensed Trade Planning Management software

You Have

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in CPG Retail (Trade, Category Mgmt, Planning, Revenue Management)
  • Account Management experience and CPG Financial competence is a plus
  • Proficiency with syndicated data and Microsoft Suite: (IRI, Nielsen, 84.51, EYC etc.)
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills - we are looking for talent that can process several data-points and simplify key takeaways to collaborators from a wide range of functions
  • A Scientific bias to solving problems: Willingness to innovate vs. status quo, with resiliency in failing forward at times to find the next breakthrough
  • Excellent at handling several projects of varying lengths, with the ability to prioritize various work streams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment

(Colorado only*) Minimum salary of $103,500 + (bonus for Sales Bonus Plan roles) + equity + benefits.
