Perfect Day, Inc is looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst for the Berkeley office location. The person will be responsible for the full accounts payable processing, vendor management, account analyses, reconciliation of various G/L accounts, and reporting to the Assistant Controller. The candidate must have knowledge of and demonstrated ability to process vendor payable transactions, follow defined processes and adhere to internal controls. The candidate will exhibit the highest professional standards and ethical principles. strong work ethic, capacity to get things done independently, and consistent performance with a sense of urgency and commitment.


YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS:

  • Corporate and business A/P processes: communication with vendors and employees, receive and upload invoices, accrue bills in the correct period, code bills to the appropriate accounts, coordinate approvals, administer payment runs, and vendor database maintenance.
  • Ensure new vendor setup requirements are met: signed contracts, tax documentation, bank information, etc.
  • Own the credit card reconciliation process: post credit card transactions to G/L and reconcile to statements.
  • Research and propose resolutions for accounting discrepancies and issues.
  • Prepare and post various journal entries and transactional activity to G/L as assigned.
  • Maintain and reconcile various balance sheet and P&L accounts as assigned.
  • Assist with other ad hoc accounting projects as assigned.
  • Participate in process improvement projects including implementation of enhancements to our ERP systems and processes.
  • Perform other special projects and analyses as directed by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 7+ years of accounting experience.
  • Relevant experience: NetSuite, Bill.com, Expensify, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working with US accounting system a must.
  • Unwavering Integrity.
