<div> <h1 style="margin-top:18px;text-align:justify;">About the role</h1>BURN is looking for a Head of Strategy to work closely with the company’s Chief Executive Officer to flesh out the short and long-term goals and make sure the company’s output falls in line with those goals.  <h1>Role and Responsibilities</h1><ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Collaborate with the CEO and senior management team to develop and execute short- and long-term strategic plans across all business units.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead initial research, strategic design, and thought partnership for major company initiatives and new business lines.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Analyze internal and external data to assess business performance, identify growth opportunities, and prioritize strategic initiatives.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Evaluate and recommend options for product, geographic, and business model expansion aligned with BURN’s mission and financial goals.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to accelerate market access, distribution, innovation, and impact.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support capital-raising efforts by developing investment cases, preparing materials, and engaging with investors, donors, and development partners.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead business modelling and financial modelling to support key investment, pricing, and operational decisions across the business.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Advise on pricing strategy, customer segmentation, and product positioning across business lines.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Monitor performance of products and strategic projects; design and implement course-correction plans for underperforming areas.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Establish and track OKRs across the company in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure alignment and accountability.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support strategic decision-making through insights from BURN’s Market Intelligence Team and other internal resources.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Lead competitive landscape analysis and develop compelling value propositions for key customer and partner segments.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Identify strategic risks and create mitigation and contingency plans.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Support board processes by preparing performance updates, strategic reports, and key decision-making materials</li></ul> <h1 style="margin-left:8px;">Skills and Experience:</h1><ul><li style="margin-left:8px;">Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration, finance, or marketing required.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Master of Business Administration recommended.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must have at least 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business management, corporate leadership, and financial decision-making.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must have demonstrated proficiency in analytical research, leadership, and strategic planning.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must possess exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must have a strong working knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, human resource planning, customer relations, and the implementation of new technologies.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must be familiar with fundraising and increasing revenue while maintaining a comprehensive and cohesive brand or identity.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must be comfortable with public speaking and communicating both verbally and in writing.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must be able to multitask with research projects, data analysis, coordination with the executive team, and acting as the public face of the company in the absence of the company’s CEO.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must be willing to challenge standard thinking with new ideas, new approaches, and new solutions.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must have strong decision-making skills and the determination to see projects through to the end.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Demonstrated skills in leadership, management, and collaboration.</li><li style="margin-left:8px;">Must be self-directed and able to work independently.</li></ul> Qualified Female Candidates encouraged to Apply BURN does not charge a fee at any stage of the recruitment process (application, interview, meeting, processing, training, or any other fees).   </div>
