Senior Executive – Instrumentation

We are looking to hire a Senior Executive in the Engineering team who would be responsible for managing utilities and machinery on day to day basis in the Fermentation Lab.
Qualifications:Diploma or degree in engineering, along with instrumentation related experience of 5-6 years.

Responsibilities:

• Experience in operation & maintenance related to automation & instrumentation in fermentation/ Pharma R&D, manufacturing and QC laboratory instruments
• Knowledge in, maintenance & troubleshooting of analog instruments
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of instrumentation (hardware and software) and control systems (including DCS & PLC)
• Preparing and maintaining calibration records, instrument history record, instrument list, calibration planner
• Prepare, maintain and review specifications for engineering drawings and  process equipment
• Prepare  Equipment installation drawings and ensure installation guidelines are followed.
• Prepare, maintain and review SOPs
• Attend to breakdowns, troubleshoot and rectify basic issues in shortest  possible  time.
• Ensure that Operational problems are promptly brought to the attention of the Technical Supervisor.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance program. At regular intervals, inspect the working condition of equipment and engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained
• To maintain Safety and Housekeeping standards
• Prepare and maintain reports
• Stay abreast with the technological advances in surveillance & safety of equipment.
• Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required

Skills:

• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of respective utility / equipment / systems in Fermentation/ Pharma  industry
• Experience in online sensor installation, qualification and validation of different sensors (pH/ DO/ Temp/ Flow etc.)
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance
• SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition)
• Troubleshooting of Hardware/Software issues; VFD programming; PLC hardware/software knowledge
• Should have the process instrumentation knowledge and different  type of Automation system communication protocols
• Should be conversant with Validation Documents, Preventive Maintenance
• Worked on Schedules/ Check sheets, SOP’s & Various Audit Procedures
• Knowledge of qualification program – FAT / SAT /DQ / IQ / OQ / PQ

Knowledge of metrological standards:

• Regulatory Guidelines and Clean room requirements
