In this crucial role, you will collaborate closely with software, firmware and IoT development teams, and field support teams. As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, maintain, and enhance the DevOps environment required to build images and compile applications for IoT devices, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current software, and propose effective solutions. You will lead the CI/CD implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices and optimizing performance throughout the project.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure DevOps, Git, automation, and DevOps best practices to deliver a reliable, scalable, and secure environment. The engineer should be comfortable working in agile environments, demonstrate strong debugging skills, and have experience using Jira for project tracking and management.<h2>Key Job Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Azure DevOps Environment Management:<ul><li>Design, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps infrastructure for image creation and application development for embedded devices.</li><li>Implement best practices for Azure resource provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.</li></ul></li><li>Security Key Management:<ul><li>Implement secure processes for generating, storing, and managing keys for embedded and IoT devices. Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.</li></ul></li><li>Automation &amp; CI/CD Pipelines:<ul><li>Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support development, testing, and remote deployment workflows.</li><li>Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks.</li></ul></li><li>Collaboration:<ul><li>Work closely with software, firmware, IoT and QA development teams, to ensure smooth integration and deployment processes.</li><li>Act as a mentor to junior engineers, sharing expertise in DevOps practices.</li></ul></li><li>Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of Agile practices within the team.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related fields.</li><li>Experience: 8+ years of experience in DevOps using Agile methodologies. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills for CI/CD pipeline issues.</li><li>Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one high level language like Python and scripts like Bash, and PowerShell.</li><li>Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding authentication/authorization, encryption, Git, version control best practices, Linux, and SSH.</li><li>DevOps Practices: Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.</li><li>Security: Strong knowledge of security key management practices and securing infrastructure. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, including encryption and secure communication.</li><li>Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in distributed systems.
