Benefits Analyst

As a Zoox’s Benefits expert, the Benefits Analyst will oversee the execution, communication, and promotion of our insurances and financial benefit programs. This includes supporting a diverse employee demographic straddling different life stages while collaborating with key partners and consultants. This role requires strong organization skills, auditing/data mining skills, and understanding of regulations governing 401(k) plans. You will manage relationships with vendors, brokers, and carriers to ensure effective collaboration, support, and service. This role will need to balance priorities of employees, managers, senior leaders, and the company.

Responsibilities

• Manage all insurance and financial benefit programs and vendors including, but not limited to, 401(k), FSA, DCFSA, HSA, Commuter, and Life and Disability 
• Act as escalation for employee questions and issues pertaining to financial programs 
• Lead project timeline and milestones for any new financial benefit implementations
• Leverage collaborative partnerships with our benefits administrators to maintain compliance with both federal and state regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, ACA, CFRA, etc).
• Partner with Sr. Benefits Manager to drive renewals for financial benefit programs
• Design and maintain consistent metrics and reporting on engagement, utilization, cost, and effectiveness of all benefits programs
• Assist Sr. Benefits Manager on monthly benefits budget reporting and annual departmental budget projections
• Partner with Payroll and HRIS to ensure operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Wellbeing Program Manager in promoting financial literacy education sessions
• Design and ensure delivery of an optimal employee experience for Benefits related processes and events (e.g. Open enrollment, life events, onboarding etc.) 
• Maintain awareness of market trends and assess current and future financial programs and vendor relationships to ensure they fit Zoox’s needs as the company scales. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience in compiling data and reporting out relevant metrics
• Proficiency with using MS Excel to track metrics, perform reconciliations, and produce compelling data representations 
• At least 3+ years of benefits experience
• Proficiency as a user with Workday HCM and report writing, experience with Benefits module preferred
• Experience managing projects end to end, including supporting full-cycle company-wide Open Enrollment

Vaccine Mandate
Employees working in this position will be required to have received a single dose of the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine OR have completed the two-dose Pfizer or Moderna vaccine series. In addition, employees will be required to receive a COVID-19 booster vaccine by the earlier of (1) April 15 or (2) within two months of becoming eligible for the booster vaccine.
