Responsibilities include overseeing production, ensuring quality standards, performing advanced troubleshooting, and coordinating with team members. Works independently and may train and support junior operators.Machine Operator Experience:<ul><li>Several years of experience operating complex or specialized machinery in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Skilled in setting up and managing advanced machinery with a strong understanding of operational functions and system settings.</li><li>Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, as well as performing preventative and corrective maintenance.</li><li>Experience with DAVI roller machines is highly preferred, as this role requires operating and maintaining this specific equipment for efficient and precise production.</li><li>Works collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance teams, quality control personnel, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and prompt issue resolution.</li><li>Experienced in mentoring and training less experienced operators, promoting knowledge sharing and operational consistency.</li></ul>Your Profile / Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED: Required foundational education, providing essential skills in math, reading, and problem-solving.</li><li>Machine Operator Experience: Several years operating complex or specialized machinery, with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and production processes.</li></ul>The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20-$23 per hour.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position.
