If you're ready to make a real impact in a company that's redefining heavy industry for a cleaner, smarter world, we want to hear from you.</div><div> </div>What You Will Do:  Electra is looking for two Lab Technician I Electrochemical R&amp;D, they will operate and maintain lab equipment to support Electra’s research and development of electrochemical and chemical technologiesResponsibilities Include: <ul><li>Operate a variety of electrochemical and process equipment, including probes, tanks, pumps, test stands, and other laboratory equipment</li><li>Enable and monitor tests, including preparing components and electrolyte solutions for testing, as well as the set-up, operation, and tear-down of experiments</li><li>Collect experimental data, including taking measurements of concentration, temperature, and pH</li><li>Perform SOPs and STPs for standard operations and test procedures associated with experimental setup and measurement of material and cell characteristics</li><li>Troubleshoots equipment and makes recommendations to improve the robustness, reliability, and efficiency of equipment</li><li>Calibrate and perform routine maintenance for laboratory equipment as needed</li><li>Assist in keeping the lab in a safe and efficient environment</li><li>Support scientists and other team members in their daily tasks and goals</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and outside agencies as needed</li><li>Handle essential job duties requiring regular attendance on site at Electra’s plant and office location</li><li>Read, understand, and comply with all workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and company policies and procedures</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor</li></ul>What We Need You to Bring to the Team:   <ul><li>Associate’s degree in engineering, chemistry, or related field of study; a directly related certification; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience</li><li>1 year of related experience in a lab setting, performing monitoring, maintenance, and other tasks related to lab work, as well as generating, analyzing and reporting data</li><li>Basic understanding of process monitoring (e.g., sensors for pressure, temperature, flow, etc.) and process control</li><li>Experience operating fluid flow equipment such as pumps, common plumbing fittings, and valves</li><li>Experience maintaining equipment and instrumentation such as calibrations, replacements, and troubleshooting</li><li>Experience with or willingness to learn about chemical and electrical safety</li><li>Experience with analytical techniques such as pH measurement, titration, microscopy, and density measurements</li><li>Experience writing and modifying standard operating procedures (SOPs)</li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and effectively allocate one’s time</li><li>Ability to work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring little judgment</li><li>Ability to receive detailed instructions on work</li><li>Fluent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proficiency with, or ability to quickly learn, Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and SharePoint</li></ul><div><div>Compensation:   <ul><li>The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $23-25 per hour and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education.  </li></ul>Benefits For You:  <ul><li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, short-term disability, long-term disability, and basic life insurance plans </li><li>$1,800 in annual employer HSA contributions (health savings account) </li></ul>Benefits For Your Family:  <ul><li>100% paid premiums across all medical, dental, vision, and telemedicine plans </li><li>12 weeks of paid parental leave </li></ul>Benefits For Your Future:  <ul><li>401k with up to 5% matching contributions which vest 100% on day one  </li><li>Eligibility for incentive stock options </li></ul></div></div>
