We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer with a strong background in prototyping and productizing electronics back-end systems for imaging or fast data processing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience taking projects from concept to completion, including system architecture, hardware design, testing, and end-to-end development of data pipelines that transform raw sensor data into usable imagery products.What will you do in this role?<ul> <li>Be a key founding member of the small team responsible for spacecraft systems lifecycle from design up to in-orbit validation. The team will bring the design into full production, commissioning and operations of the imaging instrument, including all phases along the way, development, testing, qualification, verification and iterating on necessary steps.</li> <li>Be one of the first architects and developers working on the cutting-edge, super fast-paced engineering project with a lot of unknowns. We are looking for someone who is challenge, and mission-driven and can be a leading problem solver for the electronics part of the project.</li> <li>Work with other members of the multidisciplinary team, focused on rapid development and iteration of the new concepts envisioned at ICEYE.</li> </ul>RequirementsWhat will you need to be successful in this role?<ul> <li>Expert knowledge of digital electronics, signal processing and hands-on skills of ECAD design, analysis and optimization. MCAD or mechatronics knowledge is a significant plus.</li> <li>Familiarity with very fast data processing, transfer and storage as well as previous experience architecting and developing ultra-fast electronic systems.</li> <li>Familiarity with subsystem and system level bring-up and testing, making sure that developed electronics works well with other parts of the system. </li> <li>Embracing the challenge, mindset of owning problems and solving them, capability of taking risks and leaning forward when needed.
