You will build on our current success and processes, leading a small team including QA Engineer and QA Inspectors, while working with our Operations and wider Management Team to give our customers the best possible experience, ensuring our product continues to be ‘Everywhere You Look’.What you’ll be involved in:You will be leading on reviewing, developing, maintaining and implementing the Quality Management systems and processes, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation, and in line with Teledyne Company and Customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Work with the Operations and senior management team to drive product quality processes and adherence, promoting a best in class mindset across all departments within the business.</li><li>Lead, manage and coach the other members of the Quality department to ensure key business requirements are prioritised and achieved on time.</li><li>Develop and provide training and support to operational teams to ensure product quality standards are maintained and repeatable processes are followed by creating awareness and engagement.</li><li>Working with customers to ensure any quality related matters and queries are addressed and managed in a professional and timely manner to ensure contract adherence</li><li>Supporting customer visits to site where required, supporting their needs</li><li>Lead and manage Quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure findings arising from these audits are closed out in a timely manner.</li><li>Review current quality and NCR processes to ensure these are currently fit for purpose and develop new business processes and training materials for any newly develop changes</li><li>Lead on NCR investigations, ensuring processes are being followed and reviews are being closed out to enable any lessons learned are integrated into any process changes needed.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.</li><li>Review, develop and maintain a Quality Management system to comply with ISO9001 &amp; AS9100 standards.</li><li>Assist the Purchasing department with supplier management, including auditing, performance monitoring, re-evaluation and continuous improvements.</li><li>Manage the equipment / tool calibration requirements of the facility.</li><li>Conduct FAT or other customer source inspection related tasks to ensure conformance to build standards and specification, including validation of product records and customer requirements, as required.
