We are looking for a team member who is comfortable working on roofs, someone who has basic design skills, has good communication skills and is available to work overtime when necessary. Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>Safe Travel &amp; Professional Conduct: Drive safely to job sites, arrive on time, and be fully prepared with the necessary tools and equipment.</li><li>Customer Introduction: Greet the customer professionally, introduce yourself, explain the site survey process, and answer any initial questions.</li><li>Pet Safety Awareness: Politely ask the customer to secure any pets (dogs, cats, etc.) to prevent interference and ensure a safe working environment for both the technician and the animals.</li><li>Site Assessments: Measure and assess residential and commercial sites ,evaluate roof structure, shading, electrical systems, and overall site conditions to determine solar installation feasibility </li><li>Data Collection: Use measurement tools and mobile apps to accurately gather information such as roof dimensions, structural details, penetrations, and electrical system specs.</li><li>Drone Operations: Safely operate drones to scan rooftops, ensuring no nearby trees, power lines, or other hazards are present.</li><li>Report Preparation: Generate detailed site maps and technical reports for the design and engineering teams.</li><li>Customer Communication: Maintain clear and respectful communication with the customer, providing updates and setting expectations throughout the visit.</li><li>Issue Identification: Identify and document any potential obstacles or code issues that could impact the installation.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Uploads: Upload all data, site photos, and notes promptly and accurately to internal platforms.</li><li>Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with sales, engineering, and installation teams to support a seamless project transition.</li><li>Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and awareness of surroundings on roofs and residential properties.</li><li>Must have a valid drivers license</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>Essential Functions<ul><li>Must possess an iPhone 11 or newer with a minimum of 128gb of storage to operate company equipment</li><li>Required to operate a drone and software</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Health</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>PTO</li><li>Paid holidays</li><li>Friends and Family discounts</li><li>Incentives for greening and improving your life</li><li>We offer talented, motivated individuals growth opportunities to realize their potential in leadership roles</li></ul>We look forward to meeting you!We are an equal opportunity employer.
