Information Systems - Logistics Internship/Co-op

As an information systems - logistics intern, you will help develop and streamline logistics processes to support Zoox manufacturing and other supporting departments. You will be responsible for creating dashboards that showcase key performance indicators for logistics operations. You will create process maps and lead continuous improvement projects as it relates to engineering and systems.

Requirements

• Currently working towards a B.S., M.S., Ph.D. or advanced degree in a relevant engineering program and within 1 year of graduation
• Minimum of a 3.5 gpa
• At least one previous industry internship or co-op in relevant area
• Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California
• Interns at Zoox may not use any proprietary information they are working on as part of their thesis, any published work with their university, or to be distributed to anyone outside of Zoox.

Qualifications

• Studying industrial engineering, systems engineering, computer science or another relevant field
• Be self-managed and committed to working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using MySQL and Python for ETL
• Experience building dashboards and/or generating actionable reports
• Ability to understand logical relationships within databases and troubleshoot issues
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, organization and communication skills
• Ability to understand logistics, warehouse and manufacturing operations
