We are looking for an Employee Communications Manager who will be responsible for managing our end-to-end channel strategy and internal editorial roadmap and partnering across Zoox to support critical employee and team announcements. You will also manage several internal-facing channels, support creating impactful and engaging content, and develop and execute infrastructure and processes as we scale. 

The ideal candidate for this role will have deep experience in employee communications and the ability to craft clear, compelling, and concise content across various channels. They should have a sharp eye for detail and have a knack for communicating complex ideas simply. They should also have a proven track record of leading and delivering on multiple projects at once under tight deadlines.


In this role, you will....

  • Manage the internal channel strategy and employee communications editorial roadmap.
  • Manage our corporate newsletter, Intranet, internal speaker series, event communications and content, and internal crisis communication. 
  • Develop processes, templates, and documentation to support our channel strategy 
  • Develop playbooks and communications plans with business partners 
  • Bring a continuous-improvement approach to the way we work and operate, supporting us to scale sustainably. 

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience and Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Project management experience: Highly organized and excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with Marketing and Design teams 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently on a deadline 
  • Ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish with proactive updates to cross-functional partners

  • Positive attitude and self-starter, with the ability to forge relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • Experience working with C-level executives

There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $116,000 to $164,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
