And that’s where you come in. </div><div> </div><div>About the Position: This position to support the Project Management team with effective Contract Management to minimise the project risks and increase the profitability. </div><div> </div><div>Key Accountabilities: </div><div><ul><li>Establish and implement contractual processes and registers to track correspondence, variations, claims and disputes; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Lead the preparation and submission of progress claims and negotiations with customers and clients; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Support Project Delivery Team by notifying key stakeholders of contractual obligations in order to preserve contractual rights and entitlements and recommend strategies to mitigate risks; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Introduce procedures to monitor contractual performance and assist the Project Management Office with KPI reporting; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Provide practical, business-orientated advice to management, sales, finance, project management, procurement and supply chain management teams on contractual risks and issues; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Provide the Contractual provisions in finalization of Subcontract Agreement. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Develop and implement appropriate templates to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including KPIs; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Maintain the integrity of contract information and co-ordinate all aspects of the contract administration process, in accordance with appropriate Contract Management Plans and procedures, to meet organizational needs including management of registers for project correspondence, variations, claims etc </li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Key Experience Preferred:  </div><div><ul><li>Significant experience in Contracts Administration and Management in the engineering industry (ideally rail or civil) </li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Ability to lead negotiations with Customers and Suppliers on contractual, commercial and performance matters; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Comprehensive knowledge of commercial and governance requirements for major infrastructure projects; </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Familiarity with Security of Payment legislation essential. </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Minimum 6-8 years experience in the railway/infrastructure/resource industry </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Minimum 3-year experience in commercial roles in complex technical or engineering based organization </li></ul></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Education/Qualifications Preferred:  </div><div> </div><div><ul><li>Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or equivalent) is essential </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Post graduate qualifications in construction law or contracts management are highly desirable </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Thank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
