About SkySpecs: At SkySpecs, our mission is to simplify renewable asset management so less can do more for the planet. SkySpecs is helping to make this possible by automating the operations and maintenance of wind farms using advanced robotics paired with our custom-built asset performance management software, Horizon. Ultimately, this will help reduce the cost and risk of operations for the industry. What will you be getting into? Be part of a team of Product Managers, Product Owners, Leads, and Engineers building new-age analytics and decision management platform for the renewable energy industry. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will: <ul><li>Design and implement high-performance features in the backend.</li><li>Own your product components end-to-end, participate in architectural discussions, and help shape the future of our tech stack and roadmap.</li><li>Design and develop front-end architecture using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).</li><li>Build and maintain backend services using Node.js; familiarity with Python, Ruby, or Java is a plus.</li><li>Create and manage databases and server infrastructure to support scalable web applications.</li><li>Ensure application responsiveness and deliver quality-tested, reusable code.</li><li>Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs.</li><li>Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement visual elements that users interact with.</li><li>Develop reusable components and libraries in Node.js.</li><li>Use build tools and task runners like Webpack, Grunt, or npm.</li></ul> Requirements of the job: <ul><li>5+ years of relevant experience in software development in back-end technologies.</li><li>Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).</li><li>Strong knowledge of Node.js and backend architecture.</li><li>Experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).</li><li>Good understanding of SQL and data structures.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud-based and SaaS product development.</li><li>Experience in building APIs and integrating third-party services.</li><li>Solid problem-solving and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of version control, testing, and continuous integration.</li></ul> Bonus Points: <ul><li>Experience with multiple programming languages and cloud platforms.</li><li>Familiarity with containerization and deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).</li><li>Exposure to microservices and serverless architectures.</li><li>Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.</li></ul> Perks of the Job: <ul><li>Time Off: Generous leave policy—among the best in the industry.</li><li>Global Team: Work with teammates across 5 countries and diverse backgrounds.</li><li>Impact: Contribute to building the backbone of clean energy digital infrastructure.</li></ul>
