We are hiring a full-time EMEA-based Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist ideally located in Poland. Reporting to the Global EH&S Manager, you will support the company's global safety and compliance team. You will be an instrumental member of the team supporting projects, data collection, and analysis, providing guidance and communications for global EH&S stakeholders, as well as managing risk and internal resources to further the sustainability and impact mission of the company.  
As the EMEA EH&S Specialist you will join a team of mission-driven leaders seeking to demonstrate Lime's impact.  You will support and develop Compliance safety programs. This role, depending upon coronavirus safety considerations, will require 25% - 45% of travel for site safety auditing and support. 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and support internal programs and initiatives from development to execution, including global metrics and completion tracking.
  • Conduct research that can be immediately actionable for the company and key decision-makers while supporting the oversight of regulatory submittals and research projects.
  • Participate in the creation and provision of online and instructor-led training.
  • Participate in the creation of EHS (internal customer) ticketing system and website creation including an aptitude for web-based systems.
  • Conduct safety and security incident investigations using an established standard and formalized approach.
  • Provide support and content for EHS initiatives, campaigns, incident investigations, regulatory submittals, reports, and other projects.
  • Manage internal messaging and resource libraries for the global compliance team, including EHS Help Desk, and Incident reporting portals, monthly newsletter, internal safety communications, fact sheets, and other content.

About you:

  • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience with comfortability working in industrial, manufacturing, and office environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of environmental, health, safety initiatives, campaigns, research, communications, large-scale project management, and regulatory submittals.
  • Experience working within learning management systems, video editing tools, and MS Excel.A self-motivated person who enjoys engaging in a variety of tasks and challenges. You are open to learning, guidance, and direction, and are invested in responsibly and successfully completing projects on time and under budget from beginning to end.
  • A self-starter, problem solver, and proactive in reaching out for guidance about items that may affect completion timelines.
  • An analytical and strategic mindset: You can quickly discern the cost-benefit analysis of your time, the company’s resources, and drive the business toward high-impact initiatives and efficient growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.  Resourceful and solution-oriented with a focus on execution and prioritization while maintaining long-term strategic focus. Bachelor's degree in a related field and safety certification(s) preferred.
  • Fluent in English is required.
  • Fluent in German and Spanish is desirable.
