<ul><li>Lead the design and equipment &amp; material selection for mineral processing, waste recovery, agglomeration and other plants in our portfolio, incorporate necessary material safety &amp;pollution control equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.</li><li>Design pollution control systems for environmental compliance, conducting environmental studies and soil analysis, and preparing ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reports.</li><li>Select and optimize materials, chemicals, and binders for mineral processing applications, with a focus on metal (steel, aluminum), mineral processing, beneficiation, and agglomeration.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, including chemical and fire safety regulations, and conduct ISO 14001 environmental aspect and impact studies.</li><li>Implement energy management strategies to optimize energy usage and reduce environmental footprint in process plants.</li><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including project teams, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to ensure alignment of designs with project goals and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Stay updated on advancements in material technology, metallurgy, and environmental engineering, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.</li><li>Establish quality testing labs and methods for testing quality of input and finished goods</li><li>Establish pilot scale plants / prototypes for carrying out simulation of waste recovery &amp; agglomeration processes and try out different material to optimize costs and improve efficiency.</li><li>Tie up with external laboratories and research institutes to test material &amp; carryout studies / research time to time.</li><li>Design &amp; establish industrial waste treatment methods and facilities in our plants.</li><li>Provide support to the Regional teams in obtaining Environmental permits, carry out studies and implementing actions to meet environmental norms related to our business.</li><li>Support the business in carrying out studies &amp; finding solutions for the deployment / repurposing waste</li></ul>
