Operations Associate, Gold Coast (Australia)

We are looking for an Operations Associate to join our team, leading our local operations team on the ground in the Gold Coast. As a local leader responsible for fleet health, you will lead a team of warehouse staff to drive operational performance in your region. You will be an integral part of building new local processes and mechanisms, as well as driving process execution and efficiency through data-based decisions.  

What You'll Do:

• Build a high-performing team - Shape hiring needs, execute on those needs, and train new team members
• Execute on the local strategy - Taking Lime’s vision and interpreting this to the local market with the Operations Manager, ensuring we're constantly evolving, innovating, and prioritizing the right projects to meet business needs
• Optimise local performance - Train, measure, set targets, and manage the overall team performance based on guidance from the Operations Manager
• Make data driven decisions - Utilise our data (customer input, supply/demand, and on the ground experiences) to identify opportunities and how we can improve our business  
• Supervise the completion of various local tasks, and any urgent needs from local Gold Coast Councilors and staff

About You:

• At least 1 - 2 years working in a hands-on operations, or fast-paced business environment
• Know the Gold Coast like the back of your hand - You understand the local market, its needs and how people move around
• Capable of motivating and coaching a team to perform at their highest, and navigating challenging external stakeholders
• Pure hustle - Being at a startup company means not everything will go according to plan. You should be a strong multi-tasker and be a high-energy person, able to make decisions in an unstructured environment. 
• Owner mentality - You own the local market experience, being customer obsessed in serving your community and ensuring our local operations are continuously changing to best meet the hyperlocal needs 
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Natural and autonomous leadership skills, people management experience is a plus
