This role involves inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of inbound goods, maintaining detailed records. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.The Quality Technician role is a full-time, site-based position.Roles &amp; ResponsibilitiesInspection and Testing:<ul><li>Conduct thorough inspections of inbound materials and products to ensure they meet established quality standards.</li><li>Perform various tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.</li><li>Identify and document any defects or deviations from specifications.</li></ul>Documentation and Reporting:<ul><li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, including test data and any non-conformance reports.</li><li>Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports to the Quality Manager.</li><li>Track and report on trends in inbound material quality.</li></ul>Quality Improvement:<ul><li>Assist in the development and implementation of quality control processes and procedures.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.</li><li>Provide recommendations for improving inspection techniques and tools.</li></ul>Compliance and Safety:<ul><li>Ensure all inspection activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all inspection and testing activities.</li></ul>Key Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.</li><li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.</li><li>Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.</li><li>Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office and quality management systems.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on inspection results.</li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.</li><li>Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods during inspections.</li><li>Work is performed in a manufacturing or warehouse setting with exposure to machinery and equipment.</li></ul> Work Location:  Onsite - San Jose, CASalary Range:  $38/hr - $45/hr USDSalary Basis:  HourlyThis job posting contains the salary range that Antora Energy believes it would be willing to pay for the posted job.
