We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong business and product instincts to identify and develop Lime’s key strategic partnerships. As part of Lime’s small but mighty BD team, you will play a critical role in creating and executing our partnership strategy to drive growth and engagement. You will be responsible for working with many stakeholders across our central and local teams to evaluate, negotiate, and implement new partnerships to drive long-term success for Lime.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of partnership strategies that align with product and business goals to promote growth
  • Own end-to-end BD lifecycle; source, structure, negotiate, and execute strong partnerships
  • Set and achieve ambitious targets to drive new users, market awareness & consideration, daily adoption, and engagement for Lime’s products and features
  • Collaborate closely with Lime’s Product & Growth teams to prioritize & develop partnerships
  • Drive alignment as leader of cross-functional workstreams across Legal, Product, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and GR teams
  • Drive informed decisions: use data and analysis to derive actionable learnings and ensure we’re working toward the best possible outcome
  • Regularly communicate insights, forecasts and recommendations to senior stakeholders and C-level leadership
  • Design and implement processes that will enable us to scale and increase our velocity as a team.

About You

  • 8+ years of relevant business development experience; some distribution / growth partnerships experience preferred
  • Proven track record as a dealmaker and strategic thinker with an ability to execute in an evolving, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment
  • Experience combining business, product and legal concepts to drive complex partnerships
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence (EQ). Leadership by example and with humility, helping teammates do their best work
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering) 
  • Excellent problem solver: creative, solution-oriented, adaptable
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills; effective at delivering executive level presentations. Able to persuade and drive alignment among differing perspectives
  • BA/BS degree

In accordance with Colorado State Law, if the candidate selected for this job resides in Colorado, the anticipated minimum salary will be $107,000.00, plus bonus and equity (when eligible) as well as benefits. Exact salary will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of management discretion and employee performance.
