Sound like a match? If you are prepared to work in an exciting and rewarding environment, we look forward to considering your experience and qualifications. </strong></p><p><strong>Shift/Hours/Location: </strong>Monday- Friday 8am-5pm, onsite, Moses Lake WA</p><p><strong>WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON</strong></p><ul><li>Act as the subject matter expert for all environmental and chemical compliance regulations.</li><li>Monitor and interpret environmental and chemical regulations at the local, state, and federal levels.</li><li>Ensures global compliance with raw materials and product regulations by verifying adherence, researching potential issues, and analyzing relevant information.</li><li> Provide technical advice and guidance on environmental and chemical compliance matters to internal and external customers.</li><li>Perform global chemical inventory compliance activities (EPA TSCA, EU &amp; UK REACH, Korea REACH, China, Japan, Taiwan).</li><li>Analyze and prepare monthly and annual environmental &amp; chemical reporting (DMR, air, wastewater, sustainability, REACH, TSCA, etc.) that is completed accurately and on time.</li><li>Reporting to management on compliance status and any necessary changes.</li><li>Assists in obtaining and maintaining approval for chemical components found in products and raw materials.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.</li><li>Fulfills customer chemical requests for confidential product composition disclosure after consultation and approval by company executives.</li><li>Respond to customer surveys for chemical and environmental compliance.</li><li>Fulfills customer requests for product certifications REACH, reporting HPV ( RoHS, Conflict Minerals, VOCs).</li><li>Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure environmental and chemical regulations compliance.</li><li>Prepare and manage ISO and regulatory inspections or audits.</li><li>Conducts annual EPA TSCA internal audit to inform management about compliance status and potential issues with supplier raw materials and company products.</li><li>Develop and implement compliance programs and policies.</li><li>Provide training and guidance to employees on environmental and chemical safety practices.</li><li>Uphold all MLI policies and the MLI Code of Conduct.”</li><li>Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations.</li><li>Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration are required.  The employees are committed to ensuring the Company’s practices and procedures are followed as directed.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support and sustain a high-performing team.</li></ul><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in the chemical and environmental field.</li><li><strong>Knowledge:</strong> Strong understanding of chemical and environmental regulations and standards (e.g., REACH, OSHA, TSCA, GHS, air, wastewater permitting, RCRA, ISO auditing and compliance).</li><li><strong>Skills:</strong> Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. software and tools, and SDS authoring.</li><li>Strong knowledge of computers and MS Office software.</li><li>Strong knowledge of arithmetic and grammar.</li><li>Strong understanding of chemical and environmental regulatory compliance</li><li>Understand the OSHA and ISO standards</li><li>Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Follow written and verbal instructions in English.</li><li>Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously to meet established deadlines.</li><li>Work as a leader, member of the team, and independently.</li><li>Perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Maintain regular and punctual attendance.</li></ul><p><strong>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Regulatory Compliance Specialist).</li></ul><p><strong>SALARY &amp; BENEFITS</strong></p><p><em>Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.
