Renewable Properties is looking for a seasoned and highly motivated Director of EV Business Development. The Director of EV Business Development is an experienced deal originator and closer who can pursue and close fleet customers and other business opportunities for RP’s EV charging facilities. The ideal candidate has a significant track record of success in originating and negotiating contracts within the transportation and/or energy sector. S/he must have entrepreneurial drive, deep and sophisticated understanding of the fleet customers and excellent communication skills. This is a key senior leadership opportunity to play an integral role in driving Renewable Properties’ continued success and growth in a changing and impactful industry.Responsibilities:<ul> <li>Originate, negotiate and close contracts for vehicle charging, storage and parking.</li> <li>Lead acquisition origination and market entry strategy for EV business</li> <li>Drive contract negotiations, due diligence and project execution balancing internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Establish and grow business-impacting relationships with decision-makers of fleets and other beneficial business partners.</li> <li>Own and develop customer contact strategy that successfully identifies key target accounts.</li> <li>Author and deliver presentations and proposals with a high degree of professionalism and a deep understanding of the subject matter.</li> <li>Gather market intelligence and continuously strive to be an industry leading thinker.</li> <li>Manage and coordinate multiple opportunities and work efforts with other team members in an organized, flawless manner.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul> <li>5+ years successful experience in business development and sales to fleet organizations.</li> <li>Strong business development acumen with an excellent track record of successfully negotiating transactions and closing deals.</li> <li>Effective analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve time-sensitive issues with precision.</li> <li>Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and negotiation skills. </li> <li>Sophisticated understanding of the transportation and policy environment.</li> <li>Rigorous attention to detail, work ethic, personal responsibility, work product ownership and organizational skills.</li> <li>Proven track record of success in navigating ambiguity and thriving in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Resourceful team player with a track record of successfully collaborating cross-functionally. </li></ul>
