<h3>Position Summary:</h3>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Manager to join our Finance team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all insurance-related matters, including policy management, risk assessment, coverage analysis, claims coordination, and vendor relations. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of personal and commercial insurance, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to confidentiality.<h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul> <li> Evaluate and manage all insurance policies for the family and affiliated entities, including: <ul> <li> Personal property and casualty </li> <li> Real estate (residential, commercial) </li> <li> Vehicles (including collector or luxury) </li><li>Marine &amp; Aircraft</li> <li> Business-related coverage</li> </ul> </li> <li> Conduct periodic risk assessments and recommend appropriate insurance coverage or adjustments. </li> <li> Serve as the primary liaison between the family office and insurance brokers, underwriters, and claims adjusters. </li> <li> Oversee policy renewals, premium payments, and timely submissions of claims or supporting documentation. </li> <li> Maintain accurate records of all insurance contracts, policy documents, certificates, and claims history. </li> <li> Monitor market conditions and trends to ensure optimal coverage and pricing. </li> <li> Coordinate appraisals and valuations as needed for insurance purposes. </li> <li> Collaborate with legal, accounting, and asset management teams to align risk management strategies with the family’s overall objectives. </li> <li> Provide regular updates and reporting to principals and leadership on insurance performance, coverage status, and risk outlook. </li> </ul><h3>Qualifications:</h3><ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field. </li> <li> 5+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, or a similar role—experience in a family office, private client services, or high-net-worth environment strongly preferred. </li> <li> Deep understanding of personal and commercial insurance products. </li> <li> Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience. </li> <li> Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. </li> <li> High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information. </li> <li> Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other insurance or financial software. </li> </ul><h3>Preferred Certifications:</h3><ul> <li> ARM (Associate in Risk Management), CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), or similar designation.</li></ul>
