Tech Lead, Backend Software Engineering (Remote)

Task Platform is responsible for supply task creation and prioritization to ensure fleet availability, reliability and optimal rider experience at low operating costs. We are solving operational problems by utilizing state-of-the-art algorithms and also building the first ML platform for the company. 
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and help us to revolutionize the micro-mobility space! As a Senior Engineer at Lime, you will take a technical leadership role and work as part of a world-class, multi-disciplinary team to build the core technology that powers Lime's global services.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a team of software engineers to deliver v1 product end to end.
• Identify, define, and solve strategically impactful problems, including architecting and building highly scalable product platforms, leading new product initiatives, and optimizing the system efficiency , etc.
• Be the owner of a key technical area, understand the latest technology and make technology and architecture decisions.Lead the cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
• Mentor and support other engineers on the team. Identify and develop future leaders.

About You:

• Have 5+ years of professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems
• Strong focus on delivering high quality, tested, clean code
• Experience working as tech lead in engineering group
• Fluency in at least one web framework, such as Ruby on Rails
• You have experience working with relational databases

In accordance with Colorado State Law, if the candidate selected for this job resides in Colorado, the anticipated minimum salary will be $112,000, plus bonus and equity (when eligible), as well as benefits. Exact salary will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of management discretion and employee performance.
