Ensuring the timely communication and completion of service and warranty work with an emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction</li><li>Assembly of the mechanical components for ground or roof-mounted solar systems.</li><li>Assemble the racking and solar array. Assemble equipment along with properly sealing all roof penetrations</li><li>Project clean-up including job site and working vehicle</li><li>Assist with onsite damage/roof assessments</li><li>Complete non-electrical Field Service Dispatches (FSDs) and assist the Field Service Technicians with electrical FSDs as needed</li><li>Receive, update, and complete FSDs within the Service Dashboard in Salesforce Assist with other branch tasks including inspections and site audits when assigned</li><li>Follow organization policies and procedures including OSHA requirements. Complete OSHA training as required</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve solar electric warranty and service issues that arise with modules, inverters, monitoring, and balance of system components</li><li>Investigate and mitigate any reported roof leaks including thorough documentation: complete roof leak checklist, photos, and written observations</li><li>Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians. </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert by providing on the job training and up-training for the local field service team</li><li>Support the onboarding and training of new members of the field service team</li><li>Regularly exceed defined goals for field service key performance indicators including but not limited to turnaround time, experience rating, and average dispatches completed</li></ul>Education/Experience<ul><li>High school diploma or GED required; trade school degree in construction, building sciences, engineering, or architecture preferred.</li><li>Actively licensed as an Electrician in applicable state(s); relevant work experience may be considered in place of a license where applicable.</li><li>5+ years of experience preferred in a discipline related to rooftop photovoltaic installations, construction, or building sciences.</li><li>OSHA 10 certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within three (3) months of employment.</li><li>Residential solar experience required.</li><li>Experience in estimating or site auditing is preferred.</li><li>Customer service experience preferred, especially in roles requiring direct interaction with homeowners or clients.</li><li>Proficiency with computers and software, including Google Workspace, with the ability to learn and utilize platforms like Dropbox and Salesforce (CRM) across multiple devices (laptops, tablets, and smartphones).</li><li>Comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, and actively on roofs, or in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, or under mobile homes, with no fear of heights or tight spaces.</li><li>Capable of performing physical tasks in various work environments.</li><li>Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving history, a clean driving record, and access to reliable transportation. </li><li>Willing to complete the pre-employment screening process.</li></ul>Physical Demands<ul><li>Ability to work in a variety of extreme environmental conditions (e.g., high heat, cold temperatures).</li><li>Must be willing and able to climb ladders, ascend/descend stairs, and work on rooftops of multi-level buildings, as well as within confined spaces such as attics.</li><li>While performing the duties of this role, the employee will regularly be required to speak and hear. The role frequently requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, and reaching with hands and arms.</li><li>Must be capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.</li><li>The employee will occasionally need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
