We are hiring a Senior Transportation Analyst  to join our Trust and Safety team! This position will make a huge impact by tapping into Lime’s data sets and pioneering data and trends analysis to uncover insights that will help to revolutionize safety across the micro-mobility space.  
The ideal candidate will be passionate about transportation safety and have the desire to make cities safer for all. In this role, you should have a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple complex projects, dive deep into data to discover insights and make recommendations from those insights, and will have a knack for creatively thinking of ways to continuously find ways to make improvements through trend discovery. Additionally, you will have experience with developing statistical models and using SQL, Tableau, and a programming language (e.g. Python) with a strong attention to detail and the ability to ideate and implement new and exciting approaches to how we measure safety here at Lime! 

What You'll Do:

  • Support Lime’s data-driven approach to rider safety by pulling and analyzing necessary external and internal data  
  • Continuously uncover trends from your data analysis to make recommendations around improving rider safety, development of our products, and improvements in our on-the-ground operations and product offerings globally   
  • Complex scenario modeling and dashboarding building to support leaders across the organization in decision making on trust and safety strategic initiatives for the benefit of our customers, our business, and the general public
  • Create reports and presentations that you will present to leadership showcasing your analysis, trends, and recommendations to be utilized across the organizations for impacting change and continuing to bring micro-mobility safety to the forefront
  • Support data-driven storytelling through written communication and visual assets on Lime’s road safety efforts
  • Support development of safety programs including rider education, product features, and hardware

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields of study (e.g. civil engineering, urban planning, etc.) with 2-3 years of experience supporting analytics projects end-to-end with the ability to be hands-on with data analysis gathering trends, and making recommendations from your analysis required
  • Or Master’s degree in relevant fields of study with 1-2 years of experience supporting analytics projects end-to-end with the ability to be hands-on with data analysis gathering trends, and making recommendations from your analysis highly preferred
  • Experience in and/or knowledge of transportation engineering or urban planning is preferred 
  • Experience in statistical modeling with transportation-related data is preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with SQL; ability to translate data into digestible visualizations within Tableau or other visualization software such as python 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to drive collaborative discussions with multiple stakeholders  
  • Experience solving complex problems, exercising good judgment in decision-making, and navigating ambiguous environments

In accordance with Colorado State Law, if the candidate selected for this job resides in Colorado, the anticipated minimum salary will be $92,000 plus bonus and equity (when eligible) as well as benefits. Exact salary will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of management discretion and employee performance.
