As a Quality Engineer, you will assist in developing process controls, writing documentation, and reviewing customer documentation. The Quality Engineer will work as part of a multi-functional team to ensure all processes and products meet established quality standards.</p><h2><strong>What you get to do!</strong></h2><ul><li>Assist with quality oversight and support for new product launches, including responsibility for First Article and PPAP processes</li><li>Develop and deploy quality documentation, including but not limited to inspection plans, control plans, and work instructions</li><li>Participate in material review board meetings as a signatory authority</li><li>Review and summarize purchase orders and contracts as they pertain to quality requirements</li><li>Perform root cause analysis for internal and external nonconformances</li><li>Coordinate and document deployment of corrective actions</li><li>Communicate with customer representatives regarding product quality and nonconformances</li><li>Perform statistical studies of production processes such as CpK and Gage R&amp;R studies</li><li>Monitor existing processes for stability</li><li>Perpetuate organizational risk-based thinking through execution of FMEA process</li><li>Together with Supply Chain, manage supplier non-conformances</li><li>Lead and document training activities for quality processes and nonconformances</li><li>Coordinate and implement continuous improvement projects, with particular emphasis on scrap reduction projects</li></ul><h2><strong>What you will bring to the Team</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in engineering is required for consideration.</li><li>Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Preferred</li><li>Knowledge of root cause and problem-solving techniques such as fishbone or 5 Why</li><li>Familiarity with statistical process control techniques</li><li>Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing</li><li>Knowledge of inspection and measurement tools such as CMM and articulated arms</li><li>Composite manufacturing process experience preferred</li><li>Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards</li></ul><h2><strong>The BIG payoff</strong></h2><p>We are a company who is going to make a difference in the industries and the communities in which we choose to operate.</p><p>Every employee of Re:Build will share ownership in the company and will share in the financial rewards of the success we achieve together, at all levels of the company!</p><h3><strong>We want to work with people that reflect the communities in which we operate</strong></h3><p>Re:Build Manufacturing is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
