As a Technical Sales Engineer, you are an important part of the Sympower team to define suitable assets for demand response and establish the connection between these assets and our platform. You will be responsible for defining the link between our system and the customer’s processes. You will also ensure that this setup will work with regards to the performance requirements of the intended demand response market. What you will do<ul><li>Work with our customers in southern Greece to identify suitable processes to be controlled and specify hardware implementations</li><li>Specify our hardware installations at our customers and instruct installers how to use our hardware</li><li>Execute tests and analyse results to ensure technical performance as part of the internal requirements and prequalification requirements from external parties (TSOs, DSOs, etc.)</li><li>Manage and maintain the existing installations at our customers</li><li>Provide technical support during customer acquisition, both technical pre-sales and sales work</li><li>Collaborate with our team of software developers in technical development</li></ul> What you'll need:<ul><li>Bachelor’s in mechanical with extensive electrical knowledge, electrical / automation or energy engineering or equivalent experiences</li><li>3+ years experience in / knowledge of different industrial processes e.g. paper, metal, waste &amp; water, food industry, energy, EVs, heavy industry.</li><li>Excellent verbal communication and writing skills in Greek and English.</li><li>Experience to lead, track and drive for progress in technical implementation projects</li><li>People skills with the ability to convince others of your idea based on arguments.</li><li>Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently</li><li>Interest in energy transition</li><li>Team player with collaboration skills (international team)</li><li>Willingness to work in a changing working environment, learn new things and develop yourself</li><li>Availability to travel abroad</li><li>This role is based in Athens</li></ul>Good to have skills<ul><li>Experience in / knowledge of electrical design- or installation and commissioning in industrial settings</li><li>Knowledge / understanding of industrial operating systems.</li><li>Knowledge of the electricity sector, ideally experience of reserves and balancing power markets</li><li>Experience in start-ups/scale-up companies</li></ul>Who we areSympower is accelerating the global transition towards ‘net-zero’ by helping to build smarter, cleaner renewable energy systems.
