About the positionWe’re looking for a Cloud Engineer with a strong background in designing and implementing cloud services and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in shaping our internal cloud strategy, ensuring high availability, and enabling rapid, reliable software development across teams.This role is focused on building internal tools and infrastructure that empower our developers to move faster and with confidence. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in cloud-native technologies but also passionate about developer experience, automation, and continuous improvement. Location  Remote work from anywhere between UTC-5 and UTC+3 time zones. Satellogic’s office locations include Buenos Aires, Barcelona, Montevideo Responsibilities<ul><li>Design, review, and deploy cloud-native architectures.</li><li>Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)</li><li>Monitor and optimize complex distributed systems for performance and reliability</li><li>Configure and manage networking solutions with the Network team: VPNS, VPCs, firewalls and load balancers</li><li>Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Participating in on-call rotations support our infrastructure.</li></ul> About you Experience<ul><li>4 + years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.</li><li>Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.</li><li>Proficiency in Helm for managing deployments.</li><li>Experience with public cloud providers (AWS).</li><li>Solid networking knowledge (VLANs, VPNs, routing protocols, load balancers).</li></ul>What we value <ul><li>Experience building event-driven architectures</li><li>Familiarity with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)</li><li>Expertise in building CI/CD gitlab pipelines</li><li>Strong problem-solving and debugging skills</li><li>Passion for automation, learning, and continuous improvement. </li></ul> Diversity Commitment Satellogic values diversity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
