You will deal with non-contentious matters including complex contractual arrangements. Your role will focus on identification and management of legal risk, contract negotiation and drafting coupled with the provision of commercial and pragmatic legal advice. You will also provide contractual support on matters which may arise during the lifecycle of the project.This role is key in ensuring that the Legal team’s support to the business is efficient, accurate and proactive so that contract negotiations can progress as swiftly as possible, but without unnecessary risk.Your key responsibilities will be:<ul><li>Reviewing primarily construction professional services contracts (both bespoke and industry standard such as NEC and JCT) as well as other project legal documents, including responding to requests for contract amendments to Ramboll standard agreements</li><li>Providing tailored advice to the Executive Board on risks in contracts and preparing necessary supporting documentation</li><li>Working on a range of projects across different markets with a strong emphasis on transport and offshore wind projects</li><li>Advising project directors and project managers on risks related to contractual issues arising within projects both prior to execution of the relevant agreement and during the project lifecycle</li><li>Leading or assisting in contract negotiations with external clients or their representatives</li></ul>About youYou will be a legal advisor or construction lawyer with experience in reviewing professional appointments, frameworks, collateral warranties, novation agreements and other ancillary documents.
