We are hiring immediately a Sales Consultant to join our team of experts in QLD (based in Brisbane or Gladstone) that will help us to power progress for our customers. About this job:This role is a key driver position to maintain, develop and grow revenue and awareness of our Power Generation and Temperature Control products/solutions throughout the QLD Mining and Oil &amp; Gas arena – Gladstone, Brisbane to Bowen Basin.The person assigned this role must maintain the highest level of customer service, relationship building and strong networking skills with both external and internal customers.Your key responsibilities:<ul><li>Manage existing key clients, develop new business opportunities and promote awareness of Aggreko products and complete service offering</li><li>Manage multi-location customer relationships using our local business presence to create increased business</li><li>Collaborate with the East Coast Mining Sales teams to implement key development strategies and actions and advise on any new product opportunities</li><li>Work closely with the Aggreko Engineering team and National Projects Operations team on major opportunities and projects</li><li>Represent Aggreko professionally at local networking industry functions and exhibitions.</li><li>Deliver and exceed agreed annual revenue budget and ensure revenue recoveries are maintained to agreed levels</li></ul>The knowledge and skills you’ll need to be successful:<ul><li>Ability to relate at all levels and influence key stakeholders in decision making processes</li><li>Demonstrated selling or sales management experience, ideally in a technical or industrial environment</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft products especially with PowerPoint presentations, Excel and CRM, and confident in providing monthly reporting and managing forecast amendments</li><li>Market driven professional with high levels of energy and enthusiasm</li><li>A self starter with the ability to work both autonomously or with a team</li><li>Experience in the mining environment with Rental or Capital sales will be highly regarded</li></ul>Other information you should know:This role requires travel throughout QLD region in particular from Brisbane to the Bowen Basin – some overnight stays and sporadic interstate travel may be required.It is essential that to hold a current and valid driving license.</div>We're the global leader in providing energy solutions that help businesses grow and communities thrive.</div></div><div><div><div><div><div>We work as a team and we’re proud of the difference we make to customers, to local communities, and towards a sustainable future for the world.#LI-JG1</div></div></div></div></div>Equal employment opportunityWe welcome people from different backgrounds and cultures, and respect people’s unique skills, attitudes and experiences.
