Build to simplify.Job Description<ul> <li>Align the new product development process with APQP objectives and identify appropriate controls and monitoring points.</li> <li>Development of Quality and Reliability data pipelines in the new product development.</li> <li>Initiate and drive Reliability controlling and monitoring efforts for all new product development activities.</li> <li>Detail quality and reliability goals and create continuous monitoring processes.</li> <li>Drive Requirement analysis, DFMEA, and Design validation activities for electronics and mechanical components.</li> <li>Bring in clarity and alignment on reliability objectives and approach among all the product development stakeholders.</li> <li>Define risk and risk mitigation plans by using first principles in calculations, testing, and prototyping.</li> <li>Maintain documented output from new product development activities to support downstream activities like supplier development, production, and customer integration.</li> <li>Develop and practice a failure analysis, recording, and investigation approach required for product development.</li> <li>Connect Reliability, Test Capability, and Field performance characteristics to enable the team to measure the product capabilities on quality and reliability.</li> <li>Initiate data collection, analysis, and management processes to enable quality/ reliability supporting decision-making ability.</li> </ul>Qualifications and Experience<ul> <li>Bachelor's/Master's in engineering disciplines- Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Mechatronics/ Automobile/ Reliability.</li> <li>6+ years of experience in complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation.</li> <li>Exposure/ experience of understanding tests, failures, and test methods.</li> <li>Data analysis and data management </li> <li>Reliability analysis and evaluation capability.</li> </ul>Knowledge and Skills<ul> <li>Resilience and speed to work in a dynamic startup environment.</li> <li>Handle complexity and break it down to simpler and/or sophisticated test cases.</li> <li>Understand architecture diagrams. Ability to transform diagrams to documents and slide decks.</li> <li>Understanding basic electrical/electronic circuits and line diagrams.</li> <li>Knowledge of environmental effects on products.</li> <li>Knowledge of batteries and chargers.</li> <li>Vehicle and Battery homologation. </li> <li>Reliability concepts, DFMEA, and First Principles of mechanical and electrical systems.</li> <li>Hands-on Python experience.
