This role manages and directs the Sales, Merchandising team to achieve sales and profit goals within an assigned territory. This role recommends sales and execution programs within their territory and sets short- and long-term sales and execution goals for their team. Makes day-to-day decisions for their account management team. Maintains thorough knowledge of department processes. The Sales Execution Manager is looked to for leadership and relied upon to make day-to-day decisions that affect European sales teams. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform field sales strategy and management, incl. set-up, dynamic store allocation, target setting
  • Perform distributor strategy and management, incl. roles, selection, performance management system & scorecard
  • Champion in-store excellence and mechanics
  • Direct and monitor all aspects of trade promotion
  • Direct pack-price architecture by country
  • Direct assortment recommendations towards retailers

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required
  • 7+ years of CPG/Natural Organic sales experience in Key Account Sales, Trade Marketing and/ or Distributor Management required
  • Experience in food & beverage sales preferred
  • Demonstrated team development and leadership
  • Demonstrated project management
  • Experience selling to key accounts at both a buyer and senior level
  • Strong strategic skills with experience in annual business planning
  • Strong analytical skills: syndicated data analysis (IRI & Nielsen) and budget management
  • Fact Based selling strategies
  • Strong software skills including MS Office
  • Very strong team player, ability to work with cross-functional teams to get results
  • Passion for natural and organic products
  • Ability to travel 30- 40%
