Job Description

This role will be focused primarily on key administration of the equity plan platform, share-based compensation accounting, reporting and disclosures.

Tasks, Duties & General Responsibilities

  • TASKS (65%)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participant inquiries.
  • Maintain Benefits OnLine database.
  • Collaborate with payroll group to process equity transactions and review taxation.
  • Assist Accounting group with stock-based compensation expense and forecast.
  • Process new awards, RSU lapses and prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations.
  • Work with internal and external auditors to maintain SOX compliance.
  • Compliance with international tax regulation for stock plan transactions.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual equity transactions reports for tax compliance.

  • TASKS (35%)
  • Assist in the preparation and filing of SEC reports such as Forms 10-Q, Annual Report on Form 10-K and proxy statement as directed.
  • Formal tie-out of financial statements, notes to financial statements and Management’s Discussion and Analysis for audit and SOX purposes.
  • Tie-out of and review of the Company's earnings release materials and associated.
  • presentations for accuracy and consistency with the Company's 10-K/10-Q filings.
  • Preparation of quarterly and annual GAAP checklist for review.
  • Ad hoc accounting and finance projects.

Education & Technical Skills

  • 3+ years in a public accounting firm or relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP required
  • Knowledge of NetSuite, Workiva NextGen, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch Benefits OnLine/Award Choice Financial Reporting
  • He/she should have a strong work ethic and a fast moving “get it done” style and have a willingness to learn and be highly “hands-on.”
  • Ability to interact effectively with a variety of personalities and to gain the confidence quickly of those inside and outside the Company.
  • The candidate’s personal style should be informal and collaborative.
  • Unquestioned personal and professional ethics.
