As a member of our analytical team, you will develop state-of-the-art material characterization methods to convert knowledge of physical and chemical properties to electrical performance! Our ideal candidate is a skilled researcher, who can work independently and efficiently, who has a solid fundamental understanding and hands-on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop reliable analytical methods and approaches to deepen the understanding of chemical and physical processes on the surface and at the interface. Perform physical and chemical characterization experiments to address problem and analyze results. Support company wide R&D activities, such as material screening, incoming material control, process control and improvement, and failure analysis.Manage instruments in analytical team, including tracking sample submission queues, setting up test methods, writing SOP, training users, scheduling PM, troubleshooting and performing basic repair.
Minimum Requirements:
M.S. in material science, chemical engineering, or related field; or B.S. and 2+ years experience.Solid understanding of Surface Science and Transport PhenomenaBasic knowledge in statistics data analysis and MSAGood collaboration, presentation and writing skills; ability to delivery clear and effective communicationAbility to perform work in a glovebox, dry room and fume hood
Nice to haves:
Hand-on experience with surface characterization, electrical tests and chemical analysisGood knowledge of Dynamics and KineticsExperience with AFM, Raman, FTIR or XPSJMP and Python
