Do you want to join us to transform the future energy economy? We’re hiring a Technical Project Manager to help us take the next generation cathode technology from an early research to a mature baseline process.
ResponsibilitiesLead critical projects of QuantumScape's next-gen cathode development, including Coordinating cathode development projects, maintaining up-to-date overall process flow Lab space and capacity planning, tool layout and installation support Manage materials/tool vendors, assist with budgeting and purchasingScale-up planningEstablish and track project timeline, craft the procedures used to guide projects from kick-off through successful completionBe the point of contact for all things related to project execution. Help the team and suppliers stay organized and aligned throughout each project's lifecycleFacilitate communication across multiple projects among different teams, including R&D teams, process teams, senior management, internal customers, and external contractors and service providers.
Minimum Experience and EducationBS/MS in an engineering or scientific fieldBS + 10 yrs, MS + 8 yrs or Phd + 6 yrs5+ years working in a project or program management role
Skills & KnowledgeHighly skilled at building trust and leading peopleAbility to manage timelines for research projectsClear, candid and timely communicationReferences would attest to your curiosity, integrity, and thoughtfulness
The following areas are plusesExperience working in battery development environmentsKnowledge of battery processes, solid-state materials, cathodes
