Do you want to make a contribution to this critical part of the future energy economy? We are looking for a diligent R&D Technician who has experience in analytical techniques (XRD, ICP or mechanical test) and feel comfortable to work in a glove box and dry room. As a R&D technician in analytical team, you will work on material characterization to deliver high quality data in a timely manner to support R&D in the company!
Job Responsibilities:
Manage sample submission queues, prepare samples and operate analytical instruments to perform testsMonitor and log key parameters during tests; clear lab notebook keeping and database interactions Calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting and minor repairs of analytical instruments
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentAble to work on CWW night shift (6:30pm-6:30am) Sun-Tue/Wed and willing to work overtime on short noticeHand-on experience and basic knowledge in XRD, ICP or mechanical testKnowledge of safe laboratory practices, especially in handling chemicals Ability to perform work in a glovebox, dry room or fume hood Motivated to learn new techniques and refine existing techniquesClear written and verbal communication skills Motivated and capable of working independently and within a teamOutlook, SharePoint and MS Office
Nice to haves:
A technical degree from a 2-year program or moreExperience working within a battery lab or in gloveboxes, fume hoods or dry room Familiar with MSA and JMP software
