Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<h1>Responsibilities:</h1><ul><li>Design and review electrical and instrumentation systems for new and existing projects.</li><li>Develop technical drawings, 3D schematics, and CAD models. Typically use AutoCAD software to sketch and draw up designs.</li><li>Prepare technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings for electrical and instrumentation equipment.</li><li>Organize and implement installation, testing, and commissioning of E&amp;I systems. Make sure equipment and facilities on a given project is constructed and installed properly and according to design specifications.</li><li>Support troubleshooting and resolving issues related to E&amp;I systems, PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and field instruments. Participate in RCA.</li><li>Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment and facilities reliability, process automation, energy efficiency.</li><li>Support designing and developing production process systems, test rigs, and custom equipment.</li><li>Assist in CAPEX projects including equipment and facilities upgrades, new introduction, and plant expansions, etc.</li><li>Establish and maintain documentation related to equipment and facilities projects, including specification, design, permits, budgetary documents, manufacture, installation, commissioning, SOPs and hand-over etc.</li><li>Participate in contractor management. </li></ul><h1>Qualifications:</h1><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Automation Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.</li><li>3+ years of experience in E&amp;I engineering in industrial environments (e.g., oil &amp; gas, chemical, power).</li><li>Skilled use of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office software and instrumentation tools.</li><li>Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and field instrumentation.</li><li>Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and intrinsic safety standards.</li><li>Adept at spotting potential problems and finding appropriate solutions.</li><li>Knowing equipment safety systems and processes.
