Are you looking for you next challenge? QuantumScape is the leader in next generation solid-state battery technology. We are seeking an upbeat individual looking to build their sales career in the fast-growing renewable energy field. The appropriate candidate possesses natural sales instincts to join, and help build, our sales organization. The SDR role will help lay the foundation of this sales effort through prospecting and articulating the value of QuantumScape solid-state battery efforts. You will work strategically with Corporate Marketing, product management, engineering, manufacturing, and the field sales team to find new and work with existing clients. You will become an authority in the QuantumScape technology and be able to relay these benefits expertly to prospective clients.
An excellent Sales Development Representative has:A partnership with field sales to strategically target accounts in the territory and identify potential opportunities.Skills to Research and present business intelligence about customers and prospectsHigh energy and contagious optimism.A tendency to lead conversations & is assertive with next steps.Adaptability and flourishes with environments where they can grow.Confidence in handling of objections.The ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment and thrives working independently or within a teamExcellent Task prioritization, discipline, and accountability skills.Fun in a multifaceted, technically-challenging environment, and quickly adapt to changesExcellent presentation skills and clear communication.A strong executive presence, with polish and dedication to customer outcomes.Ability to manage calendars, campaigns with timely follow-up and engagement.Skills to articulate advantages in conversation and email communication with prospects by highlighting key differentiators.Strong organizational skills and can manage and deliver executive briefings and customer visits.Ability to forge strong cross-functional relationships with the Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing Engineering and Executive teams.Proficiency in MS Office (most meaningfully Powerpoint, Teams, Outlook) and other modern business teamwork applications.Willing to travel Minimum Requirements:Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline2+ years of experience in a technical sales capacityAutomotive industry experience is a plusStrong communication skills Leading senior level customer meetings
