Job Description

As a member of our analytical team, you will develop state-of-the-art material characterization methods to convert physical signal to electrical signal and versa vice!
Job Responsibilities:
Setup a mechanical test method for thin films with large deflections. Apply both classical and nonlinear bending model to perform stress analysis on films to characterize their mechanical properties.Develop a scalable and reliable crack detection method, both in-operandoand post mortem.Determine interface adhesion for multilayered structures
Minimum Requirements:
Ph. D degree in Materials Science/Physics/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Chemical Engineering or B.S. degree with five years of experience in a relevant industry Thorough knowledge of solid mechanics and strength of materialsHand-on experience in crack detection techniques, such as image and video image processing, ultrasonic imaging, acoustic emission and dye penetrationProven experience in test method developmentStrong communication and presentation skillProficiency in JMP, CAD, Finite Element Analysis and Python
Nice to haves:
Experience in COMSOL/ANSYS and InventorFamiliar with mechanical properties of ceramic materials, metals and elastomers
