We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our rapidly growing finance organization. The Senior SAP Project Systems and FICO expert will report to SAP Senior Finance Architect. This individual will be an important partner in the SAP finance track in our ongoing efforts to build the enterprise systems team and will provide expertise in defining and implementing a scalable finance and project systems solutions to fit into the long-term strategy of the organization.
ResponsibilitiesSenior SAP Project Systems and FICO engineer will be responsible to design, implement and maintain robust and scalable project systems to define and manage complex capex projects within SAP S/4 environment.
Work with various business partners, projects managers, functional analysts, system analysts, quality assurance and production support teams to deliver on various initiatives supporting SAP Practice. Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements.
Contribute to large-scale, global work streams requiring specific knowledge of SAP within the Finance function
Lead the design, set-up, test, deploy prototype and production PS, Finance solutions and ensure that all the processes work together seamlessly
Will be responsible for seamless integration of PS system with finance, controlling, sales, and logistics modules for smooth flow of data.
Design and build integrations to/from PS systems to Ariba and SAP SAC.
Transform complex business requirements into systems solutions, analyze the impact to cross-functional areas and systems.
Provide configuration, data migration, interface, and functional support as necessary
Develop project documentation and training materials
Required Skills, Education and Experience:BS + a minimum of 5 years of industry experience Ideal candidate will have 10+ years hands-on functional configuration and design experience in SAP project systems and FICO
Exceptional understanding of Finance Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes.
Experience with SAP Project Systems (Design, Configure and build PS structures like: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling and Settlement rules for Capex. etc.)
Experience with Project Systems Integration with SD, MM, FICO, CO-PA, CATS, HR mini-master and Logistics.
Exceptional understanding of R2R, P2P and QTC processes.
Proficient in designing and building reports using tools like AO/ Tableau / Power BI
Skill and experience leading solution design and development on multiple SAP PS implementation projects
Perform performance testing & training activities as well as cutover activities, rolling out a successful module to allow business partners to improve adoption of PS systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
