This candidate will collaborate with our engineering team and various internal and external experts to ensure the successful operation of our facility. The ideal candidate will be familiar with sustaining large manufacturing operations, troubleshooting, maintaining industrial equipment and all factors that go into the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The candidate will be a problem-solver and have a keen interest in operating first-in-kind process systems. This should include a constant focus on evaluating current processing steps and proposing and developing next-generation solutions to continuously improve system performance and operability. This position will report to our Director of Engineering.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;"> </span></div><div><b style="font-size:10pt;">RESPONSIBILITIES </b></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Sustain 24/7 production operations by responding and recovering to down equipment.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Support commissioning activities of future expansion plans for our first-in-kind battery recycling process.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Implement process improvement projects to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Support PLC and SCADA development teams throughout the lifecycle of a project by updating, troubleshooting, and maintaining IEC-61131 complaint PLC programming languages and SCADA software.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Work with the operations team to author documentation including but not limited to Operating Procedures, Preventative Maintenance Plans, Spare Parts Lists etc. </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Troubleshoot down equipment and implement solutions to address root cause (Conveyors, Motors, Pumps, Valves etc.). </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Produce mechanical design, manufacturing concept drawings and layouts in AutoCAD.</span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Iterate on technical improvements to novel processing steps for extracting high purity battery materials consistently from various feedstocks. </span></div><div><span style="font-size:10pt;">-</span> <span style="font-size:10pt;">Review and update </span><span style="font-size:9.5pt;">document records for the equipment systems (e.g., Equipment Data, Process &amp;
