Our customers span a wide array of industries including aerospace, defense, mobility, healthcare, pharma, biotech, clean tech, chemicals, energy, lifestyle, food production, and industrial equipment.</p><p> </p><h3>Who we are looking for</h3><p>Re:Build Optimation Technology, LLC is seeking an individual for an Apprentice Pipefitter position.  This is a 5-year New York State accredited program that combines on-the-job training and classroom instruction at Monroe Community College and provides a New York State Journey Worker Certificate upon completion. Re:Build Optimation Technology, LLC is Veteran Administration (VA) certified education facility for apprenticeships. Qualified veterans may use their VA benefits such as The Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) to assist in living expenses while in the program.</p><p>It is an entry-level position, with performance reviews/evaluations every 6 months and a wage increase after each satisfactory review.</p><h3><strong>Hours:</strong> M-F 6:00am-2:30pm.</h3><h3>What you get to do</h3><ul><li>Fabricate and install piping systems for water, steam, air and other liquids or gases. </li><li>Alter, remodel, and repair existing piping systems.</li><li>Measure; cut and bend pipe; weld; braze; solder; glue; or thread joints.</li><li>Work is performed in industrial and shop environments for cutting edge projects in food/drug manufacturing, green energy, machine maintenance, chemicals and petrochemicals, Aerospace, and much more.</li><li>Awareness of construction/industrial site safety practices is taught extensively and is expected. Must possess a strong and professional work ethic.</li><li>Must display true interest in learning high level of craftsmanship, quality, and technical detail</li></ul><h3><strong>What You Bring To The Team </strong></h3><ul><li>Must be physically able to perform the work of a Pipefitter: climb and work from heights, work in confined spaces and lift and/or move heavy objects.</li><li>Will be required to work in hot and cold environments and in all weather conditions.</li><li>History of mechanical aptitude, attendance of BOCES, or trade experience is desirable.</li><li>Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and occasional travel.</li></ul><h3><strong>Qualifications</strong></h3><ul><li>High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma (such as TASC or GED).   </li><li>1 year of Algebra or equivalent. </li><li>Reliable transportation to and from work and school.</li><li>Must be able to pass a drug test.</li><li>Must have clean driver’s license.</li></ul><h3><strong>Compensation</strong></h3><ul><li>Starting @ $18 per hour, with $1 per hour increases every 6 months throughout program.
