We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</div>What You’ll Do:<ul><li>Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial results.</li><li>Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts including cash, credit cards, travel expenses, and outside contractors.</li><li>Review supplier onboarding documents to ensure completeness and accuracy of data entered into the system.</li><li>Perform monthly variance analysis and develop a strong understanding of financial data in the context of broader business operations.</li><li>Maintain documentation and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls to align with SOX requirements.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with business partners such as Accounts Payable, Supply Chain, and Finance to establish best practices and drive continuous process improvement.</li><li>Participate in process improvement projects to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of close-related processes.</li></ul>What You Need:<ul><li>2+ years of related experience</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting </li><li>Strong Excel skills</li><li>Detail oriented and highly organized and high degree of initiative</li><li>Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop collaborative working relationships with other departments</li><li>Ability to understand problems quickly and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Excellent technical accounting skills with a detailed understanding of current US GAAP</li></ul>Bonus Qualifications:<ul><li>Big 4 and/or Public Company experience is a plus</li><li>ERP (SAP or Oracle) systems experience is a plus</li><li>CPA is a plus</li><li>Experience with Blackline accounts reconciliation software</li><li>Experience with system implementations and UAT testing</li></ul>Please note that this job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not include an exhaustive list of responsibilities and qualifications.At Archer we aim to attract, retain, and motivate talent that possess the skills and leadership necessary to grow our business.
