Additionally, a Fabricator is tasked with reworking finished products.Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Comply with XDS and OSHA safety standards, procedures, and regulations, including daily participation in safety/toolbox meetings.</li><li>Move machinery and equipment using forklifts, cranes, hoists, dollies, and rollers.</li><li>Dismantle and assemble pumping units and accessories.</li><li>Perform MIG welding on mild steel components (including reworking finished products) according to layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.</li><li>Weld pumps and engines together.</li><li>Perform assembly work and mechanic work.</li><li>Read blueprints and use tape measuring for accurate fabrication.</li><li>Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.</li><li>Align shafts using laser equipment.</li><li>Collaborate with co-workers to produce multi-component parts and large units.</li><li>Inspect equipment to maintain proper function.</li><li>Complete housekeeping duties in the assigned area daily or as required.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Two to four years of experience in a production or job shop or Technical Center.</li><li>Welding background, with knowledge of MIG welding equipment and processes.</li><li>Supply own tools.</li><li>Knowledge of welding and fabrication of piping and structural steel assemblies.</li><li>Knowledge of assembling rotating equipment.</li><li>Ability to read and understand production assembly drawings, specifications, and welding symbols.</li><li>Ability to lay out prototypes without assembly drawings.</li><li>Ability to operate manual or semi-automated welding equipment.</li><li>Ability to use measurement and aligning tools and/or equipment.</li><li>Ability and willingness to follow directions and be a team player.</li><li>Ability to work independently when needed.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Knowledge of diesel and electric motor-driven pump assembly is preferred.</li><li>Forklift certification is preferred.</li></ul><div></div>The estimated pay range for this position is $21-30.
